We designed the Symphony DVR with ease of use in mind. The same interface and operating system are used across the entire range. This provides the same menu structure whether you are on site using the DVR, or accessing the system over the Internet. Exporting evidence has also been made easier than ever with the one button copy feature. Simply find the event you wish to record and press the copy button to export to a CD / DVD.
The Symphony range is capable of delivering high resolution, high frame rate video previously unheard of in its class. Each system is capable of recording up to D1 resolution (DVD quality) and the entire range can record in realtime. The playback of recorded video is of such a high standard it is almost indistinguishable from live images. This makes facial recognition and the use of images for evidential purposes far superior to many other DVRs on the market.
The SYMPHONY PLUS and SYMPHONY D1 systems deliver smooth, high frame rate video online utilising Dual Streaming technology. This new technology dramatically recompresses recorded and live video when viewing the footage over an internet connection. The DVR will transmit video in a higher compression format optimised for online viewing. This gives you the best of both worlds – high speed "jitter-free" online viewing alongside high quality local recording.
Symphony DVRs are only fitted with the highest quality Seagate SV35 drives. These hard disk drives are designed specifically for video surveillance providing improved capacity, reliability and performance 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The drives are capable of operating in case temperatures of up to 75 °C and mean time between failures is over 1 million hours.

We are so confident in the dependability of the Symphony range that we are pleased to offer a complete 3 year warranty with each system. In addition to this, if a system develops a fault within the first 2 years, we will dispatch an advance replacement before arranging to collect the faulty unit. This allows you to swap the existing product with the new unit in the same site visit.
