The Symphony range of DVR has been designed so engineers and end users can access the system from a remote location, at high speeds, with no additional software required on the remote computer.

Access your SYMPHONY DVR remotely from anywhere in the world using Internet Explorer. This allows playback of live and recorded video without the need to install any proprietary software. In addition, it is possible to save still images or backup recorded video to a connected PC. The SYMPHONY PLUS & D1 models also feature dual streaming enabling near realtime live viewing over the Internet. This removes the need for the user or engineer to be on site to view or retrieve evidence from the DVR.

The Symphony range allows a user to change all DVR menu settings over the Internet. This allows an engineer to configure the DVR without the need to make a site visit. The unit allows image quality, frame rate and all other menu options to be altered remotely from a connected PC.

The SYMPHONY range can be viewed on a Windows PC using Internet Explorer. No third party software is required to log into the unit, this allows remote access from any computer, in any location.

Traditionally, DVRs send the same data that they originally recorded over the internet to a viewer. This can work fine on a LAN where there is a large quantity of bandwidth avaliable (typically ten times that of broadband internet), but when used online you can often suffer from a reduced frame rate.

Dual streaming technology enables high frame rate video online by recompressing the recorded video, and sending you a highly compressed video stream over the internet suitiable for viewing online.

This means that you can experience near realtime frame rates over a normal broadband internet connection - the way you’ve always wanted to.
